If you shipped something other than UPS I'd be inclined to buy one of these but with UPS shipping rates I could make one out of solid gold for cheaper unfortunately.

Ship it to someone you know in the states then go pick it up. That's what I did.

That requires me leaving the relative safety of a democratic country... Not risking that for a bumper lol. I can build a bumper myself for less than JCR costs, given it wont be as fancy but it'll suit my needs just as well without having to go down there.

This JCR rear bumper / tire carrier is awesome. I've recently put my on and took it on a road trip down I-395 and into Death Valley. Still some work left to do. Haven't wired up the license plate light, bumper lights, or put on the rear quarter panel armor.

On 97-up XJ's, you need to remove the license plate light housing. It's a plastic trim piece that is easily removed.

We changed our entire design of all of our products. This was not one of the reasons.

That trim pc will not make a differance on my rig it smacks the tail gate real hard the when i go over a speed bump at 5-10 mph... I have a 33 inch spare and if i put my hi jack lift on it sounds like it may rip off .. So i cant even use a feature on it ....I bought the truck with it already on there i plan on pulling it off and repainting it i was going to look at what i can do like the other guy ... Im not trying to give you guys a hard time all ur stuff rocks but if you guys are having problems it would be cool to see you guys say it was a problem here is how to fix it.. but looking at ur new rear bumper you guys gave more clearance for this issues and the support is alot better which is cool for the new guys getting bumpers

Honestly, this the first time I've ever heard of this issue on our old stuff and we sold a ton of those bumpers. I would need to see pictures. If you feel like sending me some pics, info@jcroffroad.com.

Since it's irrelevant to our new bumpers, I'd prefer to figure out the issue and come up with a solution on a back channel, so shoots us an email.
