It's the small things.
Even thought my XJ is currently not running due to a fuel pump issue I realized that it's not only the big cool awesomeness of all the great stuff you can do with your XJ but also the smaller things.
For example I realized within the past couple days that one of the things that I love about my XJ is how light it is. Easy enough for me to push around on my own if I need to.
Anyone else have similar things they love?

I've never had a vehicle sit in my drive way for so long with the radio blasting while working on it and it still starts afterwards. Dang radio was on for almost 4 hours straight and it started right up(it did have a weak sound to it but it still started).

yes it being so light is a great thing! because i can get enough speed rolling down my driveway(standard house driveway) to pop the clutch and start it if the battery dies!
I also love how many different forms it can take in the same day. I can show up to a friends with doors off, go home shower throw the doors on and go to work and watch it poor rain all over my jeep and get home with it being so dry!
also.... Its a sports car in a 4x4 body
beat an xterra down the on ramp.... he gave me the "why the hell is there no doors and what is that thing" stare.... then he squealed his tire off the line. And then 3 gears later i was up to speed and passing him on the on ramp

I love how simple it is. Reminds me of working on my old pickup with my dad. Sure, it's fuel injected and all that, but it's not super complicated and I can identify most of the parts under the hood. Not to mention they are rather plainly put together, not a lot of fancy expensive clips and things like my old BMW had. Makes it fairly easy to work on.

The simple 80s styling especially the interior (pre 97). I have always been a fan of 80's vehicles. Easiest vehicle in the world to change the oil in. Most repairs are easy and cheap.

*Hijack*
My summer ride can't fit on ramps or any hydraulic lifts either (unless I use wood blocks), so I do it myself at home with a jack and jack stands. I don't use it often and use synthetic oil, so I do one oil change when I take it out of storage (April) and one in September or so.

That reminds me I have to do one on the Jeep this week.

Low profile jack and jack stand on one corner. It's just 3" lower than stock, not slammed by any means.
Just thought of another thing I love about my Jeep: Parts are cheap because there are always 20938490782786 XJs in my local scrapyard.
