Hello, just purchased a 1999 Cherokee SE 4 door, and need to replace the front driver side door trim (tan) and all the parts that go with it.

IIRC there was Saddle, and Camel. I forget which years had which but some dont know there were two shades so they simply say Tan. So be sure to ask for pics of what they have to be sure it will match. You will know. They are night and day different.

My understanding is that '97 and '98 is the Saddle.
'99 to '01 is the Camel.
And as fb97xj one said there is a night and day difference between the 2.
Saw a '97 with the Saddle interior once up close and personal and it was more orangy.
Be careful even with pictures though.
Depending on the lighting and the quality of the shot I have seen the Saddle interiors and they looked kind of Camel to me.
Especially in Xj's reported to be '98's.
Now even though under '98 in the parts catalog Saddle is the only color listed I always wondered if they made transition to Camel in the later XJ's in '98 so...
Also be aware that this might be a tougher find.
Cause assuming cause it is a SE that you have a power mirror but manual windows.
Not the easiest to find in Agate or Mist Gray which was the more popular colors.
I always kind of assumed that only about 20% of '97 to '01 XJ's came with the "tan" interior.
