Yeah they look a little over cooked. I wouldn't recommend them for consumption.

They look beefy well made and the welds look good to me.I would put some anti seize on the threaded part just to keep it clean if you have to adjust then again.

I have always just used electrical tape around the exposed threads and put a zip tie over the end of the tape. Never came off and its been like that a very long time.

Yeah ithink Spectre got bought and then they stopped making them. Glad I got mine before they stopped. it looks pretty easy to piece together yourself. I would actually recommend it. Some the peices that came with the set weren't the best quality. I ended up replacing the main strap and a couple hoses.

Just curious on how your adjustable shackles would fare on my MJ. And how much lift range they would offer? Thanks

The minimum that is possible is 1 3/4". They will definitely fit your MJ. The SRBs will not. Wish I had pictures to show you of them on an MJ.

Thanks, I know the SRBs would not fit. Lol. I am considering your shackles as I can fine tune them for whatever equipment/tools I carry on the clubs outings.

They're some beefy shackles I'll tell ya. Maybe a little over engineered but I think thats what you can expect when you get anything from ironman. No room for the weak.

Just made this video. Was pretty proud so I figured I'd share. Nothing like a little bit of JFK to make your day.

lol thats awesome that you noticed. Yeah I am. I'm the guy with the white XJ. The reason there hasn't been any videos on the channel is because I work for Ironman4x4 now doing marketing stuff. Which you can probably guess to see a lot of YouTube content from Ironman now.

That issue pops up now and then. It usually resolves itself, but its still something we are trying to fix.

Were you able to order them?
