Default Iron rock almost alloy kit.

Ok so has any one done this mod? How do u like it? Is it worth it? It's now only 25.00. What's your experience with it?

my only thought is that you now have to grind them off to change the Ujoint or you're forced to replace the entire axle shaft. they look like more of a pain than anything else. do you have a front locker, spicer 760's, and full circle clips already?

I have the 760's and a locker on brand new 35 Mtr's. I broke a shaft last weekend the I joint was perfectly fine. But the ears on the shaft blow apart. So that's why I'm leaning towards these......

you can do the same with washers. they just stiffen up the u joint ears and keep the caps from spitting out.

Wish I could, I'm a poor 18 year old kid. Hard to pay the Jeep hobby with a part time job and school. But I wanna go alloy someday

i have never personally done it, but it makes sense. I have tack welded the caps to the ears before, and ALWAYS use full circle snap rings.

This is what happened to my old shafts this last weekend. That's why I think these would work for me. Since the u joint held up without failure
