Just thought everyone should know this, because I don't know if anyone really has done this before. Anyways, I was at the local dragstrip friday night and a buddy of mine said he'd buy my ticket if I ran my jeep. So needless to say I agreed. I ran three times and got: 17.2, 17.2, and a 16.9! My jeep is a bone stock 93 cherokee sport, with an auto trans. Just thought people might enjoy that tidbit

 

I don't know what he ran, but a buddy of mine took his 94 XJ on 31's out there and got runner up in the stock class, came home with 85 bucks. Bracket Racing you kno.

 

But in bracket racing, the vehicle doesnt matter. Its all about the driver.

 

Exactly, still fairly cool for an XJ that the PO rearended a f250 with, got stuck between trees, almost rolled, oh, and the tierod is bent as hell because it was straightened by bending it against a tree on the trail Lol

 

Car still has to run consistanly, but the driver is a big factor.

I replaced my 94 vw with my 00 cherokee and I was surprised how quick it is.

A 10 sec nova against a 17 second cherokee and the cherokee could win. That was my point hoss.
