Default To Insure the Jeep for Extra Value or Not?

So my build is well on its way and I'm getting into this jeep for some serious coin beyond what the value of the car is, all of which will disappear if the car gets stolen. Just wondering what the general consensus is on insuring for extra value is, especially when you've got a few grand in mods. Do you guys do it? Why or why not?

For extra insurance you have to get a car appraisal saying how much they think its worth. And a lot of insurance companies will want it parked in a garage over night also. For me i wear a lot of camo and cleans my guns on the front porch every so often its worked for years.

Brother Long would have a SWAT team show up at his place in San Diego should he clean his guns on his porch. Kalifornia is not really part of the US any longer, it would seem...

On a Jeep its usually not worth the cost of the insurance, most I would guess like me have only 10-15k max invested in everything. Mine is stored inside a shop building when not in use but I figured if I had a loss it would be an accident and off road at that, not covered.

I do have 2 classic cars insured and the cost on those aren't all that bad.

I insured my 1996 daily driver XJ due to coastal storm flooding/hurricanes.
Geico said they will give me $4300 if totaled. I might have to total it, JJ.
