Im getting my Cherokee ready to be put back on the insurance since I took it off for the winter, but getting tired of not being able to drive it alot more. So when I bought my Cherokee I paid for it in cash $400 and got the title in my name and dads. Im wanting to remove his name and just have my two vehicles I own in my name.

It says on title "NAME / LAST NAME "&" My NAME / My LAST NAME. Can I just take it to the place I got the title trasnfer and get it in just my name? I live in PA.

Call the auto licensing in your area...

You cant expect everyone to answer questions you can easily find out. You could have called them and asked quicker then the post took.

You can just take it to any title place (AAA does title work too, if you're a member). Your Dad will need to go with you since his name is on the title. You'll have to pay for a title transfer.

Since it has your name AND his name, he needs to sign the title. If it was your name OR his name, you don't need him to sign the title.
