Default Im thinking of making Custom Jeep parts.

IM Curious about demand for custom jeep parts. Like fenders flares. cup holders. Door pockets... CB Holders. just about anything that can be made in a thermal vacuum form. IM in the process of making some tools to accomplish a few ideas I have running around with the rest of the loose marbles in my head ... and IM curious what the demand for some parts I could make would be ... such as stated above and other things to.
Feel free to throw your 2 cents in..}main thing would be. Would be cheap enough that even the poor man will buy. as a example. Say fender flares of different sizes widths but all going for ruffly same price of 250 - 300 a set...
Cup holders that dont sit over the dang Emergency brake handle. And me having a stick. yea I can see me putting a soda right there. So IM def. thinking drink holders that work in a XJ would be a hot item...
Well, anyway. Let me know what you think ... throw PICS in of ideas to. basic thing is ... simpler and easier it is for me to make. Then the cheaper I can sell...
Thanks for reading and any suggestions
Greg

awesome!

yeah that whole cup holder above the E brake but having a stick doesnt sound like a good idea. I'd love to purchase something that worked more efficiently.

and as far as fender flares go, I would also be willing to throw down for something that worked better than the stock but wasnt as big and odd looking as BWs.

short answer, yes I'd be interested in buying some of these things if youre making them.

Have you seen the new FLAT fender flares for the TJ on Bushwackers site? I would like to see a set of flat flares for the XJ. The ones on the TJ stop at the top for the fronts, Id like to see them go all the way down like the backs do.

man... WHERE TO START!!!

what about for cup holders, make a rectangular frame piece that slips onto the center console storage compartment, and have two holder hanging off the back end for the rear seat passengers, and for the two front ones have them sit off to the side instead of hanging in the way of the e-brake.

i'd be down for flat flares on an XJ! that'd look sick!

another idea for those with lots of switches, creating a hollow box with dividers on the front for switches to be mounted. have little tabs that a self tapping screw could go through so it can be mounted on the underside of the dash. one of the sides will be open so all the wiring has a place to exit the box.

a pretty large item, but a cargo liner that is an organizer as well. basically, it would be a box fused to a cargo mate with stand up dividers to organize, and keep things from sliding in the back when out on the trail.

I'd be cautious in your initail investment, and base further investments from there.........02 cents.

As long as you make it and not import or use slave labor, I'd buy some
I'll go to Florida as an excuse to pic up part and not pay for shipping :P

Some flares styled like bushwackers, not as high priced that did not stick out so far would be nice.
