Default I'm back!!

After over 2 years I'm back. As some of you may remember I lost the XJ to cash for clunkers and ended up with a pretty pathetic looking Liberty. Well I did the best I could with it, lifted it 5 inches and threw some 35's under it, but it just wasn't the right platform to build a true wheelin machine. After some searching and a whole heap of wheeling and dealing I managed to get myself another XJ. I'm starting off with a bone stock 1995 red 4 door, and will be building it for the local trails, and the 7 mile race out at Line Mountain. For those of you that don't know what it is, just do a quick search on YouTube. All I can say is the race is absolutely brutal to both driver and rig. With that being said I'm off with the trailer to bring it home and start building. Pictures will soon follow.

Very cool!!! It's sad what you did to your last XJ but it's fine because you have another! Plus they are WAY cheaper to work on. So what was bad about the KJ? I've heard that they are bad *** offroad.

BTM24, my old xj rotted front to back. I had zero floor and and the unibody frame rails were 50% rotted. Structuraly it was unsafe, had to make a judgement call on saftey. The KJ is independent front suspension, with an aluminum housing d30. They blow apart with 31's... and I ran 33's right from the get go. So I've replaced the front end components too many times for a vehicle with 50k miles. Hence why I got a dedicated woods vehicle for the intense stuff, and kept the KJ for light trails, hunting, fishing, etc.
Char92dj8, that dually is beyond words. The vehicle has more grunt than a semi, at half the weight. Its not mine so I wont disclose mods or numbers, but its safe to say it's eaten a few muscle cars in it's travels.
