hello everyone, i just started off roading. I bought a 1988 cherokee 2 door, but it started to have problems with the idle, sometimes it just dies on me, sometimes when i start accelerating it looses power momentarily, and when i am at constant speed revolutions oscillate up and down a bit. normally this all happens when the cherokeee is hot. Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

 

Almost sounds as if you have a failing M.A.P. sensor... May want to start checking there, also make sure you have no vacuum leaks as that will affect it as well
