how do you like that arb bumper?

Cliff 01-24-2010 04:09 AM

So far it has been awesome! It's tough as nails and I think it has a nice finished look to it. The only down sides being the price and the fact that you have to remove the bumper if you want to take the winch out. I hope I never need to because between the two the bumper is HEAVY

Mike H. 01-24-2010 10:17 AM

I like a clean rig.
Only takes 10 minutes and $5 at a pressure wash place to wash trail dust off here in Az so I keep mine clean...

They were made by a member on this forum by the screen name of Howler GT. I am not sure if he makes them anymore, I think he may have stopped making stuff in general but I will check.

Hey your rig is sweet FloydXJ! I really like what you have done to it. Plus that is the rear bumper I really want someday.

I really like the way that looks, did you scuff up the clear coat before applying the rhino liner?

Thanks, i wanted to save some money and not have to buy more of the silver paint/clear-coat to match so i went with a cheap(a little to cheap, liner)
I definately scuffed it enough on the drivers side we had to pop a couple dents out and putty and the same with the passenger side. I just used an off brand stuff that i got at a surplus store, but i am going to take the door trim off over my spring break and run a yellow pin stripe above the soon to be real rhino liner, as well as painted the bumper end caps and fender flares with liner.
