its okay, not too fond of the position of the spare.

 

its the gladiator i think. it was a concept they recently came up with that i think they bagged.

 

It's the final design for a possible 2012 Gladiator. It's based on the very well received Gladiator concept from 2005. It's a light duty pick up built on the 4 door JK platform, but obviously with the 2 rear doors bring replaced by a small extended cab and a truck bed. The final design was shown to Chrysler dealers in September of this year and it was very well received, again. The spare tire is set on the outside of bed to "call back" to older model trucks (50's and prior) design cues. If, and it's a BIG if, it does hit production, it would be in late 2011 and would most likely use the current Grand Cherokee's 2" air lift system, as well as Chrysler 3.6 V6 engine.

I love the older tire mount, and it might come in a HEMI! Thats what jeep does now with the Grands, it makes more sense in a truck.

 

Rumors are with Fiat backing us instead of the stiff and boring Germans, this thing has a chance of seeing production. And if so, I will be trading in both my Neon and XJ for it, in that color.

 

Finally bringing back the commanche eh? God i hope so...even if its now called the gladiator and it has a spare mounted on the side of the bed. Now lets hope they bring back the xj and not update the pos patriot and try to make a xj poser out of it agian.
