How much do xj's weigh. My MJ would never pull another one on a trailer. It would throw me all over the road. What plans you have for her?

Its all about trailer brakes and properly balanced tongue weight

Ya but all that means nothing if your truck is too light to get the trailer moving.

lol I towed the MJ home on that tailer behind an 05 Powerstroke.

I just hooked the XJ to the trailer to move it across the yard.

I'm not sure what I have planed yet. First thing is the get the transmission back in it with the new clutch.

Not trying to start a "can you pull a car with an xj" arguement by any means, but my xj pulled a ranger on a car trailer just fine

It just took a while

Oh yeah, it's plenty to get it 'moving'. Getting it stopped is the problem.

The only time I hook my XJ the car trailer is in the yard to move stuff around and in 4-low.
