I just bought me some 31" Firestone Destination MT's and I am more than excited about it! I have heard people praising these tires, and claiming they get 60-70k out of them! I have heard, and seen that they chunk a little bit, but its not bad at all. Not enough for me to now want to buy them. I have yet to pick mine up though. I bought 4 from Creamery Tire, Pa for 648 mounted and balanced.

Look at Tire Rack dot com. They have great prices! Most stores will price match them too

most shops charge balancing, mounting, valve stems ect
but that does seem outrageous is that with alignment?

im just saying, you all say 650 for everything, well i found those tires for only 136 each tire...thats only about 520 bucks for all 4..with out have them do the mounting and balancing...so maybe not 150, but 130

you will like the destination mt. i had a set of 30x9.5 on my dakota before. i now have a set of 33's on my tj. they work great, but are a bit slippery on smooth/shiny snow and ice.

they wear well too.

another tire to check out in that price range is the interco trxus. not sure about a 30x9.5, but they have 31's.
