After only one week of ownership.....I love my Cherokee! I've owned a lot of vehicles in my years and many SUV's and this thing just ROCKS. I bought it for my 16 year old daughter to drive but I can't stop driving it, cleaning it and working on it (even though it doesn't really need to be fixed).

Now, the funny part, I primarily drive a 2002 Moutaineer Premier V8 AWD with every option (bought new) and I like this fn old Cherokee better. It's so simple, primative, smallish and basic....I just like how it feels. I even offered my daughter a trade, Daddy drives the Cherokee and she gets the Moutaineer.......she will NOT trade me even though technically and luxury-wise the Mountaineer is way nicer. LOLOLOLOL

 

Funny.

 

I say sell the Mountaineer, buy another XJ (stock, good condition), and use the extra money to build it up.

 

Actually, I'm seriously thinking about the 2012 SRT hot rod....I need a couple years to pay off some stuff first, so I'll probably go used. I like going fast as much as mudding. No need to build an off-road Cherokee since I have this to play with...
