how to tell if its an XJ

Thanks all I am not sure if I like the color or not either but if I painted it I would get in major trouble my mother in law LOVES the color of it. I think it would look good in dukes of hazzard orange. but it aint gonna happen.

? Where did you go that brought that up? I have a police package, when I go to get parts or whatever it never shows a police package or even government/fleet vehicle package...

I bet with a lift, tires and some accessories that color would rock. Maybe just shake the blue up a bit with a contrasting color like black or silver. I think it would look sick!

Yes, there was a police/ranger package. Just like there were SE's Wagoneer's, Briarwood's, Pioneer's, Pioneer Olypmic Edition's, Chief's, Sport's, Country's, Classic's, Limited's, Laredo's, Freedom's, and 60th Anniversary's. These are all packages. But when it comes to monikers, all 1984-2001 Cherokees are XJ's.

It does give me much pleasure. I was talking to somebody last night and they told me that they just gave away a 80 somthing XJ limited 6 months ago. He said he couldn't find anybody to take it. He said all that was wrong was a knock in the engine and he just didn't want to mess with it.
