I live in Qatar, and recently bought a Cherokee Limited with sat-nav.
It very kindly has a "trail" feature, so I just hit a button, set off across the desert and it tracks my progress. When I finish I can save the trail and give it a name.

Thing is - when I try to "replay" a trail it just says either "cannot start" or "no digitised roads exist in this area"...which is true, its just sand dunes!

Do I have to get close to where I last started the trail for it to be recognised? If so, how close? Or am I doing something wrong?
