How old and what year was the xj? Along with any first memories you had of it

 

16. Its a 1998 Sport. Memories... still waiting to make some

 

I got both of my xjs this year and only 20yrs old.and memories are just working on them

 

16. Too many memories in the 8 years I've had my XJ's.

 

17 it was from my mother and she got a 2004 pathfinder

Edit: i remember when i was like 5 I threw up in the back seat on the way to school lol so nasty

 

18. Still making memories everyday I leave the driveway. Everyday is full of excitement with my xj because if my love for it. I hope to keep it for a very very long time. <3

 

i was 16 when it became mine but was 14 when my sister got it...lots of memories sitting shotgun and not being old enough to drive it

 

got my 2001 when i was 15... oh wait im still 15....

 

My 90 xj I have now is my first and I've had since I was 17. Have had five years full of memories, My first memory of it was when I was 14 with my uncle (the po) haha he came to pick me up to go to a demo derby and I was at my moms friends house that lived up on this hill with the very steep muddy driveway that no one could get up except the property owner in his beater toyota pickup. I was suppose to meet him down below at the end of the driveway but he showed up early and drove right up the driveway with no problem, haha the property owner was surprised that the bone stock jeep made it up without breaking a sweat, haha never thought it would be mine 3 years later.

 

got my first when i was 18, and i remember it being a lot of work

 

i was 18 when i got my 94 now im 20 and still got my 94 and a 2000 and thinkin about gettin another one

 

Right before I turned 16 I got my first XJ. I still remeber it, it was the biggest POS of them all but I'll never forget how it got me hooked into Jeeps and how it got me deely obsessed with Chili Pepper Red paint haha 3 XJ's later I'm still going strong.

 

got my first Cherokee (first vehicle) when I was 16. it was my moms,
she got a new truck and gave the jeep to me.
I was terrible to that poor jeep. I crashed it into everything, some times we would sleep in the back camping. I let my girlfriend drive it thru a corn field and she had no idea how to drive standard.. burnt out the clutch. I broke every interior panel i ever took off. tried to put a cd player and speakers in but i didn't know what i was doing and didn't have it properly installed. every time I hit a stop sign the CD player would come flying out . The speakers were the wrong size and i couldn't figure out how to screw them in so the magnets held them in (except when you opened the door they fell out)
I totaled it in NH coming back from a skateboard park with my friend.
came up over a hill into the sun and right into the back of another Cherokee. luckily no one was hurt.

I was young and did a lot of stupid stuff back then

 

41. 2000 XJ Sport. Memories would include numerous trips loaded up with mountain bikes and kids heading to the dirt trails, working on it and towing home 5000 ponds of patio blocks in the rain.........the last memory is not recommended by the way.
