Can depend on the type of snow. Some have low ratios (heavy & wet) versus the high ratio (dry & light). If you have 12" of 3:1 it might be a whole lot worse than 24" of 10:1 snow.

If I was starting out on something like getting my pregnant wife to hospital, I'd say that on a stock jeep, once the snow reaches the front bumper I'd be calling for the air ambulance.
Conservative? probably. Sometimes the risk isn't work taking.

The heavy wet snow. My truck on a 3.5" lift was the only one that was able to get down my girlfriends block. I pulled out a ram 1500 and an f150..

when I had bald old syle Mt/r's on packed snow I couldn't make it a few feet. We dont get much snow to test out my Mtrs that have tread now. Tires make a huge difference. All terrain on slick packed stuff, mud terrains for deep powdered snow.

You wont have much problems with snow. Unless it's real heavy, and really wet, and your tires are bald. XJ 4x4 usually dominates snow, period.
