Well im want to put 33 inch tires onto my 1989 cherokee but i need to know what is the chepest way i can do this. Can i just trim it and it will fit or do i have to get lift. I just want to get the wheels on but dont want to spend a huge amount.

There are TONS of threads on this.
You can just do coil pucks in the front, blocks in the back, and a lot of trimming. That would be the cheapest way and you can get all the parts at Autozone or Kragen.
A little better would be coil pucks in the front and S10 swap in the rear and trim.
You could also do coil pucks in the front and shackles in the back and trim like crazy.
I believe another model Jeep coils fit ours and you could use those and then do one of the above for the rear and trim like crazy.
Or you could get a cheap budget lift for a few hundred dollars. Either way you will probably have to trim like crazy.

No. Again you will have to trim or do the above budget lifts but could get away with about a 2" lift. Go get some 2" coil pucks and 2" blocks/shackles. I would defintiely pay the extra money and get shackles, blocks are a bad idea.
