Money and Time
I would hate to count up the numbers on my jeep
It wouldn't be good

ON my current ride I have 5 yrs of wheeling and wrenching, going from stock axles (d30/d44) to cureent setup of 44/9" Caged, 231/231doubler, 36's and beadlocks. I have been patient and wated for deals and have done almost all of the work myself And I am in about 10k
Only had my current one about 4-5 months, into it for less than $1000 not including things like spray paint, nuts, bolts, wire, little stuff like that.
XJ: $400
Rear bumper/tire carrier: $180 (steel was free, the $180 is the hardware)
rear hatch struts: $50
2" shackles: $50
32" tires: $100
Spartan Cylinder Head: $368
Felpro Head Gasket Set: $60
Sold spare transfer case: -$150
Total: $1058
Haven't ordered the hardware for the tire carrier yet so less than $1000 by that count.
I've lucked out and gotten a lot of free stuff on my rig.

sadly I'm rapidly approaching 8k. maybe 4.5k in parts and 3.5k in bull**** things going wrong with my jeep
I used to keep track but one day I added it all up and it was 6.6k and just decided to stop counting... and this is all I got to show for it

$800 for the Xj
$1300 tires and wheels
>$600 suspension
~$300 maintenance
around 3 grand for a 3.5" lifted xj on 33s that runs like a top, doesnt leak a drop of any fluids, and will go wherever I point it and still gets driven daily. The only problem I can say it has is the floor is rusty and sometimes the AC isn't as cold as I would like.
