is the 8.8 photographed on the original post picture? looks aweful flat. more like an 8.25...

kbb puts it under $1800 in your area. only good things on that jeep are the sliders and (supposed) 8.8
but that leaves the question of what gear ratio you're running?? fishy..
you could ask $2500 but a smart guy would offer $1300

 

its called do some research on craigslist in your area. look up xjs. look up xjs similar in your year, condition, and mods.

around here i wouldn't pay more than $2000 for it

 

seriously though what axles are you running. I thought explorers only came with 4.10's, 3.73's. did they come with 3.55's?

 

i mean i've been looking i've found some with similar mods just better paint and a hi-lift and there 7

 

4.5" lift and a $70 jack for $7000?? no way in hell. they'd have to be a 97-01 running lockers and a quality suspension
only other places that ask 7k+ are car lots

im not that great with the tech stuff like axles but i will post another pic tomorrow of the axle

 

im not saying i would pay that i was just saying there are some crazy high prices

 

well you said YOU installed it. 8.8 requires welding. thought you'd be pretty sure on it..

 

I thought you meant you saw similar rigs to yours going for 7k.
