Poor XJ gets no respect. Some brain dead old fart (older than me anyway) scowling and shaking his cane at the Peep when we parked on mainstreet today for a coffee stop. No respect, no respect at all.
It's tough for XJ's being at the top of the food chain.

original everything.. it looks like the camshaft is pitting pretty badly though.. think thats on the list to do.. but the crosshatches in the cylinders look perfect.
