my transfer case got a hole in the housing so i got a donor w/ 210,xxx so im just wonderin about how many miles i can expect to get outta mine. so my question is how many miles do you have on your orginal transfer case or if you have a donor and know about how many post that and how many on the first b4 it went out too.

 

mine has 120,000 but it really depends on if it was taken care of oil changed and whatnot if it wasnt taken care of probably dont have to much left in it but you can rebuild these fairly easy assuming that you have the 231 there quite a few kits if you have the 242 it might be a little harder to find a kit but i would rebuild the original as a spare

 

yea i have the 231. the old one has a hole in the housing and to buy just the housin is around $300. the "new" one looks to be in very good condition plus i took it apart and cleaned it out good
