But it would all go outward.... wouldn't it? 4 inch bs on a 8 leaves 4 outside. 4 inch bs on a 10 leaves 6 outside.....The bead doesn't move because you're measuring the bs to the lip.... right?

thats what i was thinking. if the backspacing is the same it would all go outward. or am i missing something?

You're not missing anything. I have 15x12s on 4in backspacing. There is 8in in the front and they stick out far.
