ok, so my neighbor who i have known for 16 years has a cherokee 95 (stock), last night my other friend and i were talking about how it would be fun to mess with him, by hooking his brake switch to his horn.
so my question is, is there a horn relay that i could hook a wire from the brake switch to?
Is the horn grounded and power is supplied to it or is power
always there and the ground supplied?
and how can i get access to it? on my cherokee i can hear it somewhere around/behind my drivers side head light.
if pranking (messing with other peoples cars) is against forum rules let me know.

you need to take the end cap off the bumper horn should be right in there
another thing i like on the older models 96 and older, is pull off the washer fluid hose from the back hatch(so it sprays straight back) and ask somone to check your brake/reverse lights

MY SPECIALTY:
find an old horn and hook it up to the trailer wiring, its best if you do it to one of the turn signals cause they can get down the road a bit before it starts to go off
im not sure witch pin is for the turn signal but either way its funny
i did it to a guy at work who put zip ties on my brothers drive shaft
(that's a pretty good prank also) hooked it up to his trailer wiring and when he hit the brake it would go off
i got old horns if you intrested

Zip ties on the driveshaft is my favorite. It will drive someone nuts wondering what all that noise is. And usually before they can find it the ties will either break off or wear down and the noise will stop.... until the next time you do it.

Driveshaft is the best. I've done that so many times and it never fails to make me laugh. I get the big fat zipties that are supposed to be used for handcuffs. They are great!!!!

I still think the train horns are the best thing ever. If the island wasnt so small I'd go around doing it because 90% of the people here have never seen or heard a train before.
hornblasters.com for people that have been living under a rock for the past 10 years.

i have to agree on the train horn or airhorn ones. thats the best, i want a big ole air horn for the next time someone cuts me off... zip ties gets a 10 in my book also...its funny to see how theyre so confused and interested in the noise like wtf is that?
