Default Hood Stripe or no hood stripe

Wasnt really sure where to put this so if it the wrong section i apologize.

I saw a thread on another site about a vinyl hood kit with vents and i really like the vinyl (not a big fan of the vents) but im not sure if itll look good on my jeep. What yall think? BTW itll be done in flat black like in the pic

Heres how the niyls would layout just remove the vents

mines the same color and i was debating doing the same. it will probably be nice since it would be a subtle touch. also think it will bring the whole look together. i did my rockers with bedliner and it stands out just enough to be noticed. except in direct sunlight or with the flash anyone do it yet on this color jeep?

I used flat black. I'd say if you do it use flat, it will stand out better on the darker color. Or if you are worried about the result, see if you can find a matching hood at the Junk Yard.

Mines a 97, and the hood is from a 94, same exact color.

i think it depends on the color of your jeep, like that example picture it looks good cuz it contrasts well with the color of the jeep, but honestly (no offense HAMMERED) i dont think it matches well with red, but i personally think with the right colors it looks down. i think itll go well with your jeep, try it out. Trial and Error
