Hood Scoop Update...sorry it took so long
So today I got bored and decided to go out and mess with my hood scoops. I cut out one single hole per scoops, then drilled 21 holes on top of the scoops. I did this because I've gotten some other opinions which pointed out how the smaller holes were sipping out the hot air, rather than letting it out. Havent taken it out to test this latest "modification" yet. First pic is with the 1/8 inch holes, the second pic is the 21 holes, and the last pic is the cuting job I did.....that could be better....

Nope, no over heating issues before the scoops went on. I just wanted to get the hot air out to help keep the temps down a bit, especially with it being summer...keeps the temps cooler by 8-13 degrees depending on if I'm on a steep hill going up. On the highway, it runs cooler. Around town as well. I know it's not a huge decrease, but every little bit helps

Well, right now I'm just using what the scoops came with, the super sticky adhesive. But down the road I'm going to rivet them to the hood.

lol i agree. seems pointless
so if you are going to keep it dont rivet to the hood, thats pretty ghetto. fiberglass it to the hood. make it at least look good.

Not to argue but I have had covers on my head and tail lights of other vehicles .I never had a problem with that and they were held on by 2 face tape.Mine sat in the sun all day every day .You should be ok.

They don't look bad, although i think you should mold them to the hood as well. But at least they're functional!
On a side note, JhammXJ...is your first initial J, and last name Hamm?
