hitch winch
has anyone ever ran a winch from their hitch? i know that they make a plate that goes into your hitch that bolt the winch to. im just not sure of how i would run power to it. im not gonna be pulling too much weight with it maybe just 3000 pounds. not my jeep it to tighten cables across a creek. any help on the winch is much appreciated

In the fire department the rescue truck has a hitch winch. They have special plugs that look like big trailer light plugs. I think they are warn. So I would check their site.
