To start, I'm class of 2011 at Carl Sandburg High in Orland Park, IL. Most of the kids that i go to school with are stuck up driving beamers, Lexus, Audi, Porsche, Ferrari, etc. I envy ALL of you with lifts. My mom is 100% against it, I've tried. And I dont think my dad would be much for it either. I live in the suburbs of chicago, so no real close wheeling places that i dont have to pay to get in. I would be saving up for goodies for the jeep, but im still in debt for all the repairs that keep on coming
Either way, id take my jeep over a civic anyday.

My parents won't let me lift mine either and I even have the money for it (idk how but I do). They won't go for any of that crap. Ill have to wait till college I guess haha
get a 3 inch lift and tell your parents its becasue it was sagging and rubbing in the rear...

my parents will let me do just about anything to my jeep as long as i am paying for it, i can justify why i want to do it, i get the help i need and can do it right and safely.
its my jeep i paid for it and paid for the lift the tires the lights the racks the gas. as far as im concerned its my car. its just that the title is in my dads name.
the only thing they wont let me do is take my doors off... i tried to justify it with it looks bad@ss! and they said it would be hard to get it to line up right agian so i explained the process of cutting the bracket ans making them come out like a wrangler but they dont see how i can safely drive around doorless lol and tube doors are gay.
next plans for the jeep are 4.10's front and rear. and finding time to trim my fenders.
