Default HID headlight question...

I just put HIDs in my 2001 xj. They come on with the headlight switch but dont go off with it. they only go off when i turn the jeep off. but they come on and go off with the switch when the jeep isnt on. is there any way to fix that or does anybody know if thats just how they are?

Pull the headlamp delay module plug. Under the steering column, left hand lower side of the opening. The plug is pretty tight so put some effort into it.

Yeah mine do the same but I just keep my lights on when ever mu jeep is on.

I'll try pulling the delay out.
