Default Hi, My name is REDZ

Hey I'm Redz.. I have a 2000 cherokee 4.0 4wd. I bought my jeep in PA while there for work and drove it back to WYoming. I bought it for $5000 with 82,000 in mint condition. Since then I have proceeded for beat the heck out of it and it looks like a 87 with 200,000 miles.. Oops. I replaced the fuel lines, power steering lines, Transmission lines. brake lines, brakes all around, steering box, tires, trimmed the fenders, Oil pressure sending unit, cb radio, Steel front and rear bumpers, snorkel, removable doors... I think thats it. Oh yeah and My driver side window needs a good elbow to go down and a tug to go back up. I turn the key about five times to start it ( check valve) and my steering wheel is at about 10 0clock. Oh and my rear hatch has to be open from the inside. And my doors sag ( removable damn doors are only good for 3 months here in WY). But it takes me to amazing places that other vehicles cant!!!!

My story is just the opposite, I bought my XJ from someone like you, then proceeded to fix and repair everything the PO had neglected and broke on it.

Well you spent alot of money then.. I try to repair everything that is important.. But I dont mind opening the hatch from the inside or banging on the door to get the window up. As long as my XJ stay's reliable.
