Default Help me put a price on my Jeep

Well I had my first kid 7 months ago and times are pretty tough for us so unfortunately I have to sell off my toys Ive spent the last couple years building my Jeep how I want it and now I have to let it go. Im not sure where to value it so I was hoping you guys here could help me put a price on it.

1996 Cherokee Sport 4.0 four door
166,000 miles
dark green with grey interior
front windows tinted at 50% and the rest tinted at 5%
3" suspension lift- Zone Offroad
adjustable track bar
new tie rod ends
transfercase lowering kit and shims in the back
all new u-joints including behind the front wheels
new wheel bearings
No Death Wobble!!
new calipers/rotors/pads- new drums/pads
Aluminum 16" rims off a 2001 xj classic plasti dipped black
new Cooper Discovery ATP 32" tires
Spectre Air Intake Kit
99+ intake manifold
upgraded injectors with the 4 pin holes
APN Header
Walker downpipe
Magnaflo Hi-Flo cat
Flow Pro muffler
new radiator
new water pump
new thermostat
new mixing valve
new blower motor
blower motor resistor
new headlight housings with 6000k 55w HIDs
leds behind the dash/4x4 indicator/trans indicator
led reverse lights

Im sure im missing some things and I should still have receipts for everything I listed. On to the bad...

Front passenger fender dented- I bought it this way

I did buff and wax but the paint is faded and doesnt look great up close

Has a weird knock underneath almost like the exhaust is loose and hitting the bottom of the truck when going over a bump but when I get under there the exhaust is fine and I cant find anything loose?

It leaks a little oil and im not sure where its coming from but it looks like from the oil filter adapter, I just havent had time to fix it. I always run Mobile1 and change oil every 2500 miles. It never leaks enough to get low just leaves some drips in the garage.

Interior is in pretty good condition, has some marks on the head liner and the driver side visor. Missing a couple little plastic pieces here and there.

Rear bumper cap is cracked.

Has some surface rust above the windshield but none anywhere else- solid truck!

Thats about it for the good and bad, as I think of things I will ad them and if you have any questions please ask. This isnt a for sale thread yet I would just like to know what to ask for this. Thanks

It's hard to put a price to a vehicle without really seeing it in person.

Overall it looks to be in decent shape and well maintained. Unfortunately, a lot of things you listed are general maintenance items and won't add any value to the Jeep.

What you sell it for definitely depends on your location. Where are you located? I live in Iowa and IMO, this would sell in the ballpark of $2500 in my area if it's as described and based on the pictures. I'm sure someone else will chime in, but as I said before location is a huge part.

I'd put a ballpark figure of $2,000-$2,500 on it here in NH/MA.

In Montana, there is one setup similar to yours at a local car-lot with a sticker of 8,000 on it lol. I have seen really nice ones go on Ebay for upwards of 10,000. The average run of the mil stock XJ here goes for between 1000-3500 depending on condition. I would bet you could get 4000 here from the right person. Alot of bad winter weather and places to use them make Jeeps/Subarus expensive here.

Down in Louisiana I bought one similar to yours for 800$.

It is really hard to tell. Look on CL in your area, find one in similar condition and add 1000 for your modifications. Someone will probably try to haggle you down and then its up to you!

Location is a huge factor. Depending on which CL city I look in, prices vary immensely. I could see it selling for $1000, or I could see it selling for $3000.

It all depends on what you enter and what doesn't count for anything, what really means a lot is loan value. What condition did you enter fair or good?

Also KBB values aren't what matters, what matters are the ones shown in NADA the book banks and dealers use and there are very few adds for anything.

My rule of thumb for craigslist is KBB divided by 2.
