Help me pick a paint color for my XJ....
SO I’m ready to paint my 1993 2 door XJ…. Right now it’s a red back with a rattle can silver front… Very Starsky and Hutch. I’ve done all the scuffing I’m going to do and will be painting it with some oil based Rustoleum thinned out with my HVLP gun… I just cannot decide on the color… Of the Stock Rusto color choices what do you think !!!
Not going to rattle can it… so stick with the stock choices.
The jambs are red FYI with a grey interior
It’s a driver but a camping / trail runner as well. Doesn’t have to be to nice BUT I’d like to pass it along to my Son in a couple of years.

silver is the best
...one thought here,...you can be uniqe and go with Hammerite (made by Rustolem)paint....I ran across this stuff when restoring my old ford...it is very duarable and if you go silver it has a marble (for a better term) look to it...dark siver grey is awsome...that is what i did for the inside door trim on my old Ford....all my armor ,rear hitch and Dring, front tow bar on my Jeep is hammered black....you scratch it and you can spray right over it...and it is tough to scratch
......looks awesome....just a thought
cameron
p.s....you can get it in gallon form...spray it on and color sand it and I think it would real cool..

My XJ is white, looks clean as heck and pretty sharp when it's clean/shined up. Also, makes the layers of mud look better when there is the contrast between pearl white and brown. Haha

Bronze... or sunburst orange.... or do a different shade of red.... everyone has a black white or silver jeep that is boring... no offense...
