Default Help with looking at a xj

Hello i purchased an xj last year its great and it has never let me down, however the rust is starting to get progressively worse. Just a few months ago i had to replace the gas tank and now i have a small hole in the pass floor board. So before i decide if i want to replace it i would like to know you guys opinion being that im a novice to the xj world.

A friend of a friend is selling this:

1996 xj 147k 3" ranco suspension and 33" he claims there is no rust i haven't been able to see it yet and claims no accidents and its problem free.

my question is what do u guys think this thing is worth? any of you running the ranco suspension? the jeep will be a daily and see the beach this summer there are no places to wheel by me. Are 33's to big to be on this suspension from my reading ive read 4.5 should be used for 33's. I know he hasnt regeared the jeep is that going to be an issue?

thank you in advance

Actually very few peeps will tell you that it's choking the life out of them to maintain it and they just want it gone.
