Default help finding the correct shocks

So I want to get fox shocks with adjustable reservoirs
They will be going on my 96 jeep cherokee so stem top would be preferred but i can get an eye adapter or make one if needed.

So for the fronts i need 28"+ fully extended length
and for the rears i need 24"+ fully extended length

( these lengths are long enough that the shocks will not act as limit straps, thats what my limit straps are for lol )

soo my question is in finding out how long a shock is without seeing it in person

9 out of 10 adjustable rese shocks from fox arent for a xj.
and they list the shock based on the specific lift size and specific vehicle
( ie Fox adjustable rese shock for a jeep jk with 2-4" lift or fox adjustable rese shocks for a jeep jk with 4-6" lift )
i wish they made it easy and also gave you the info such as fully extended length and fully collapsed length.. but noo, they like to make it difficult lol.
is there a way to tell that a shock for a 4-6" lift on a jk is 28" long?

anyways if anyone could help?
maybe someone recently bought shocks for a certain size lift and i can base my purchase off there measurements?

maybe i can stop by 4wheelparts and see if they have any fox shocks in stock that i could unbox and measure.. or maybe i could call fox and ask them.. but i kinda doubt ill have luck at those options.

it may be your best option to call Fox and talk to someone that has dimensions of their shocks, and since they are adjustable any light truck with comparable weight will work fine.

are you looking at new shocks or used shocks? if you are looking at new, all the info can be found on the fox website. lengths, valving, shaft size etc.

if you are buying used and wondering what someone is trying to sell, they should simply be able to get a tape measure out and measure the extended and collapsed lengths.

but first you need to figure out what extended and collapsed lengths you need. the collapsed length is more important, you dont want the shock to act as a bump stop. your extended length can always be longer than needed, but the same cannot be said for your collapsed length.

buying new.
i must be blind haha
i cant find the collapsed length or extended length?

ill try and call them tmrw on my lunch hr

oh and im really not worried bout collapsed length im running 35s so i have 7in bumpstop inserts in my coils. i just need them to be 28" extended in front and 24" extended in rear.

whats everyones opinion
front & rear resevoir adjustable
orr
front adjustable rese & rear rese non adjustable?

the difference in price seems to be about 90$ more each shock for adjustable
but i will hopefully be able to get a fairly good deal from work since ill get it at cost

i see what your talking about now about where it shows collapsed and extended lengths but it only does that when i go to the offroad section. if i go into the jeep section or anything else that tab isnt there...

and the offroad ones are a hell of a lot more expensive and hard to find online..
annnd arent adjustable.

sooo ill just have to call

still curious what you guys think bout adjustable in the rear.
