Default HELP

Can anyone help me out I have been trying to figure out my transmission leak for a while now and then when i changed my filter and fluid it got alot worse I took it to a transmission shop because it began starting in fourth gear when in drive and not going like it used too they told me the forward bushing had been spun out and the solenoids went bad and i might as well get a new transmission. Well they found me one for 350 and then they install it for 200 but i told them i would do it myself. Does anyone know how hard this project will be and is there anyone on here in the carroll county georgia area that can help me out in installing it? Also has anyone seen any really good deals on jeeps it does not matter what model or year. Thank you.
