hi guys i am the proud owner of my first 98 xj. 283,xxx runs strong ax15 5 speed love the thing. One issue it skips and sputter and pops sounds like its coming from the airbox. ive read about heat tape wrappin or installin a timed fan but my jeep will start doing this after this skipping has cleared out only if i begin to start wheeling like pulling other jeeps out or spinning through mud, i takes stuff like that to start the skipping again. Any ideas as to why this is and?or suggestions for the fix Thanks.
