Default Have to brag about the Cherokee a little

Hopefully this doesn't confuse anyone, it was hard to explain since i am missing some pics

Ok, so i went on a ride today with the local jeep club, most are wranglers. My open diff 4.5" lifted on 32's XJ went places where a wrangler with 8" lift on 37's with a locker in the rear and much more couldn't go. The pics of my xj are a little old but i went back thru the same spot as on the pics today. He eventually gave up and had to go around. I was amazed and I know thew were stewing on the inside. Here are a couple pics

This first is me going thru the rough spot that the yellow jeep couldn't get thru. Don't have any pics of him trying

Him recieving a little cosmetic damage

The last couple pics is me going thru the spot during and after were he recieved minor damage and having to put it in reverse and going around. No shame in that i guess, lol

Great job! I have had the same experience going where those short wheel bases had issues. Plus, you can bring your whole family and all your gear!

I'd put money that he kept slipping down cause he cheaped out on tires that don't have good sidewall lugs.

compare the sidewall tread of the Toyo MT: http://www.offroaders.com/tech/AT-MT...en-Country.htm

To that of the BFG KM: http://www.offroaders.com/tech/AT-MT...rain-TA-KM.htm

That and his driving skills probably sucked. Money doesn't make up for lack of ability. thus why many guys who are not loaded but have skills drive XJs where the rich clueless ppl drive Wronglers.

There are exceptions to the rule, but it tends to be pretty on-target.
