I see where your coming from.. Everyone gets on me at school just because I post stuff on Facebook about my jeep! Even at school I get some stuff said haha it's like they own it or something? I don't worry about it really because I'm the only jeep not just Cherokee in my high school that takes it out. Even the big old mud trucks won't go up to our local ORV park so I just ignore them and post more stuff on Facebook!
i want to thank everybody for the support. it's helped alot. a couple of friends basicly said they do that crap alot and don't wheel with them either. i really shouldn't take it to heart. i'm on the border of texas and oklahoma, "red river" just north of dallas texas. the place we where at. is really for 4wheel drives. most people will not go down there in 2wheel drive. but, thats what i built it for.
if you google earth carpenders bluff you will see what i'm talking about.
thank you again everybody!!!!

ok, i hate to bring this back up. but, this morning. i got a text from a friend telling me that my suzki bubbies where asking about me. they asked how i made it throw a trail they had not fully finished. nor, "ever" gone when it had been rainning. from what i understand they had only gone down it on there 4wheelers.
there is a spot i got stuck. but, i was able to get out by just digging a hole and putting some rocks in place. no big deal. but, they had to cut some tree down to get past it.
long story short. when i got the text this morning. i laughed my head off.
made me feel really good knowing. i made the whole trail with nothing more then a good friend, a good shovel and my jeep.
they had to use chainsaws.

Sounds like a bunch of back stabbing drama queens.. that think they are men because they have 4x4s. How old are they? Reminds me of the freshman girls i dated in high school. What difference does it make? You were there werent you? Dont let this bother you at all. You attempted/ did convert a 2wd to a 4wd so that in itself is cool enough and quite an achievement
hate = misplaced envy
personally I love when someone (esp someone I know) does something new or inventive.
If you were my friend and I knew you busted your azz just to wheel with me, then rock out in 2wd I would say "good job getting the POS out here."
Some people just like to talk chit

Me and my buddies joke around about our stuff. All in good fun though. I would never put any of my friends down to their face or behind their back.
Those seem like the kinda guys that would ***** helping someone if they broke down on a trail or just leave them. Not friends IMO.
Find some good buddies and trail on!!

when I go wheelin theres always someone new that joins our group they look at my xj on 33s and usually make a comment like your heep wont go where my yota will. I always call amber (my jeep) the midget it a joking tone. thats when I start to have fun theres no words for the look on someones face when you show them up. eventually we all settle in, the idea we have is you push each other and always have a eye to help when its needed. getting stuck or having to back up for a better line is the name of the game.
have fun wheelin thats why you go. keep your head up find a group that enjoys wheelin just as much as you and dont let anyone bring you down
