Was working on the old girl today, stepped inside to have some lunch, and when I came back outside, there was a business card on my portable workbench that read "I was wondering if you want to sell your Jeep...Please call me" on the back. Any one ever walk up wanting to buy your rig? Just wondering....

Had offers once or twice on previous Jeeps. I've got too much time and effort invested in any Jeep to sell it for what 99% of people would be willing to pay. If I've ever sold one it's because I've been so broke I had to or to finance another Jeep project.

Unless someone was willing to pay significantly more than it's worth, I'm not just going to sell it on a whim.

Amen...2 1/2 years of time and effort in repairing, modding and fabbing is worth a lot more than a couple grand.

I was driving on my way to work and the car in the lane next to me matched my speed, so I glanced over and the guy was looking at me and rubbing his fingers together (like if you had money in them). At the stop sign he was asking me how much i wanted for it. Had to tell him I wasn't interested in selling, and he kept going on and on about his old Cherokee Country that he redid and sold.

I couldn't sale my XJ. She's a member of my family. We were all sad when her transmission went out and were stuck riding around in my Cougar. My oldest boy asked if we were ever going to get the Jeep back on the road after a month. I reassured him and said yes. And he told me that he misses her.
We all did.
I personally felt like as if my doggie had ran away. Going to keep her no matter the offer. Should one come up that is lol.
