I've seen your pics, but you only have 10.5" wide tires and its the older style jeep(different flares)

Nice rig though!

Oh that's right lol.. Well you'll be fine. Slightly different flares, but mounted the same way. My brother has a '99 and did the same to his, but he's only running 31s.

If you go w/a 10.50, it's no problem.

I had a 99 with 4.5" and 33x12.50's. There was trimming, but not as intricate as that tutorial.

look at my jeep, im running exactly what you wanna do, i didnt go through all that trimming in detail like that, i just went right ahead and rolled the front and rear fenders, ive got more than enough room for my 33's, i could probably go 35s if i really wanted to, i didnt keep my stock flares cause i thought it was a waste, plus i like the fenderless look its beefier looking

the trimming is the same on all year XJ....just he kept it cleaner and relocated the OEM flares. I run 33 x 12.50 x 15 on 15 x 8 MT Classic II wheels. fit great.
going to put 34" LTB's on this weekend.

Even using that cutting method you posted and trimming and putting the stock flares on you are going to have tread showing unless you use the factory wheels but then you are going to have issues with the tires hitting your control arms. Here is mine with a 4.5" lift and 32x11.50's on 15x8 wheels with 4" backspacing, the tread of the tire is clearly not covered all the way
