Wow! This is like when I inquired about used leaf springs from a parts Cherokee and the guy said he was looking to get AT LEAST $300, but more if he pulled them. I sent him the link for brand new ones at $150 and asked him if they were made of gold. He never got back to me.

 

you could by a running cherokee in good shape for how much he is asking for the axles

Reminds me of the time I took a 25min drive to get a door this guy had. Turned out to be not only the wrong door, but it was bashed in.... and he wanted $250 for it.

 

i bought a mint front axle for $165 with good shock, springs, tie-rods, and track-bar/ mount...

i emailed a guy a couple months ago about ZJ coil springs because he was parting out his rig. i asked how much for two his response was $300 for two, my response was good luck.
it almost seems that people dont really want to sell what they are listing. a buddy of mine has called on three different engines down here multiple times and gotten either no returned calls or impossible schedules to work with.

 

going by that dude's logic, my jeep is worth at least 20 grand!

i like your thinking should email a reply to people like that with a picture enclosed of your rig and say something like: due to the current inflation of used jeep prices i am going to have to sell mine to purchase a used toyota prius dead box, how would you like to buy my jeep for a steal at $20,000 and maybe you could use those parts that you are trying to sell?

My entire jeep cost $1000, and that was with a 3" lift and 31" tires. I'm defenitely replying to his ad tomorrow telling him a better price range lol.
