Default great to be back online.....

after being MIA from CF.com, might i say that it's great to be back!!! i didn't go anywhere special like some tropical island off Bora Bora or the Maldives Islands. instead, i've been here in my work cubical oasis busy with work. yes it's true. busy to the point where i can't even log on to any forums. bummer i know.

in addition to my crazy workload, my wife and i had 2 new addition in our family:

1st addition on 2/18/12 we welcomed our 2nd child - a healthy boy (19 in / 6 lbs & 3 oz) named Joaquin Antonio. now i have someone to pass down my trucks to. =0)

2nd addition on 3/02/12 we welcomed our 2nd jeep to the family. it's s 1998 cherokee 2wd w/ 118k miles and we bought it for $2300. now daddy has a new toy to play with. =0)

but behind every joyous & sweet moment there must be a bitter ending for another. sad to say that i might be letting my current cherokee go. my 88 cherokee (which was my dad's) w/ 258k miles has been great to me and my family. i've kept the jeep alive for 10 years after my dad's passing. and now it's time. even my mechanic says it's time for a new one. so before i wave good bye to the old workhorse i'm checking with my immediate and extended family first before i bid farewell to my murdered out dark compadre.

now onto to the newly rejuvenated, reincarnated and younger dark compadre. pics to come soon.

I'm sure your prolly thinking the same thing but if my dad gave me a jeep and passed away I don't think I would get rid of it ever. Maybe just get the other one on the road and slowly start restoring your old one? JMO

Edit. Congrats on the baby boy too! You'll have some help working on the jeep now
