Got a "new" jeep XJ today.
Well I got it. I posted a thread about maybe getting it for $350 the other day.
It's an 89 XJ, auto 4x4, 4.0. It has 78,xxx original miles and is in excellent condition body wise and interior. The motor and all looks clean but it doesn't start. It turns over and over. I've already read into what it could be and am going to run some test tomorrow.
The real good part is I got this jeep free. The man gave it to me. He lives on my road and turns out he knows a lot of my family. He's a real stand up guy and his in his 70's.
So if I get it running I'm going to clean it up with a pressure washer put slightly off set rims and a small 1.5-2" lift. One day I may get it painted red. All because I just decided to stop at a house of people I didn't know and ask about their Jeep.
