I looked high and low for reviews, info etc on this tire and found next to nothing. I bought a set anyway and will update this thread periodically as I put them to use. possibly to help someone else who might be seeking the same in the future.
background: stock 97 xj with ~2.5" AAL and pucks. had 225 goodyear SRAs on it when I bought it a couple years ago. I put 36k on them with no issues, but decided I wanted new tires as they were beginning to look worn. I wanted something a tad more aggressive, but did not want to compromise ride or noise.
so I bought a set of these. so far I am very happy with my purchase. they are bigger tires with an obviously more aggressive tread, but are not noisy and ride very well. this jeep is my daily, I put 4-500 miles a week on it, driving it every day in every condition, doing everything. no offroad use, although I am tempted more and more every time I look at it.
here they are last night, as delivered:

here they are today (24 hours later):

i found them when I was looking at the goodyear silent armor tires. my dad bought a set for his Tacoma and I really liked them. I stumbled across these, as they are the same tire minus the Kevlar lining. considerably cheaper as a result.
I've had them a few weeks now and I'm impressed. traction in the snow is unbelievable. granted, we only had about 4" down at most, they provided excellent traction, in all regards. I had to use 2wd on my way to work just so I could spin tires and partake in general horseplay. I've had them "offroad" once, in a low lying wet area. they have no problem digging holes and making **** happen. i did not get stuck, but after that experience I am heavily debating a locker for the rear.
they are still quiet and smooth. I almost wish I had gotten the 225s as my mileage suffered and the jeep is obviously slower now.

just an update. these tires now have 47k miles on them. i will go grab a picture. holding up well and still 0 issues. at this rate, it looks like i'll get 70-80k miles out of them.

well i just parked it in the garage and there's still snow in the tread. the tread comes up to the date on a penny. not bad for 47k miles. i have had 0 issues with these tires.
