Are you talking about the Goodyear or the BFG? The rubber will not have the same consistensy between the two. I do agree the BFG All Terrain is a great tire and will deffinetly last 50K plus.
But i am not really sure which Goodyear AT you are talking about Jeepability. The Walmart one? Can you post a pic

Sorry, talking about the BFG's. I'd go with the BFG over the Goodyear, mainly due to saving $30 a tire. If it's the Goodyear Duratrac, they're still a great tire, not as grippy offroad as the BFG A/T, and you'll probably get about 45k out of them.
