Default Good place to get a header

Where are some decent places to get a new exhaust header. Not looking for OEM, looking for a performance header at a decent price. Cheapest I've found is about $175 which isnt bad, but I just figured Id see if someone has seen any cheaper.

Already checked the normal sites; ebay, google shops, amazon, jegs, and summit.

yea im wondering the same thing, i think the $175 ones are the ones on ebay that arent coated, for coated ones theyre like $189, or something like that, idk. but yea, headers a few $$ cheaper than that would be sweeeet. not to kill your thread here DJK but while were on the exhaust topic, does anyone know where to get a good exhaust set up? i know rustys has that muffler package and cat back pipe thats a bigger diameter than stock but $180 for that with the flowmaster 50 i want seems like a lot, when you can get a turbo thrush or something like that from farm & barn for like $35.

yea, thats pretty much the same thing as rustys is offering, comes with a cherry bomb pro for $150, upgrade to a flowmaster 40 for an extra $25 and a flowmaster 50 for and extra $30. its something id definitely like to get eventually but i need a lift/wheels first. originally when i got my jeep and kinda planned out a project thing i was gonna go performance then lift but my leafs are inverted and need attention haha. plus i might just get a muffler and make my own exhaust, have it comin out the side or something.

Well all good exhausts start with a header, so a good thread starts there and ends with a tailpipe! LOL. I was on Cherry Bombs site and they have a direct bolt on cat. converter for the early XJs. I am going to grab one of those for about 100 and their Vortex ehaust flows like crazy and sounds S W E E T !!!

I wont mind paying a little more for the coated header, just gotta wait a little longer to save up for it.

Oh, and I dont have a tail pipe. I attached a turndown to the end of my muffler and I dont have to worry about smacking it with the axle on full flex, or ripping it off with my departure angle!
