This probably isn't asked much because most of the time crawling is where it's at. But is there any good gear ratios for the high-way? I do mostly high way driving and was thinking about possilby have 2 sets of axles one for when I'm playing and one for when I driving the open road. I could be very dumb too. Been called worse.

Right now i'm running stock tires, but will be running 32's. I know by going up in tire size will kill it more. And i have the AW4 for a tranny. (which is stuck in the shop new band, valve boby, and who knows what else)

I'd run 4.10's with 32's on an AW4. low enough for decent crawl, and good on the highway.

i think 4.10 on the highway might be a little too low. depends where you live. there is next to no flat ground where i live! so having 3.07 with 33's is really bad. if you have alot of hills then 4.10 will be good or even 4.56. but if its relatively flat then 4.10. get your tires and drive it around through 3 tanks of gas! then you can make a wise decision wether or not you think you need to regear.

the 4.0 seems to be most fuel efficient around 1900-2100 rpms, at least in mine. and 32's are gonna bog you down a bit. 4.10's with the aw4 on 32's will put you right at 2211 at 65 mph. so maybe 3.90-4.10, but I've only seen people on here wishing they'd gone lower.

well ive got 3.07's so im gonna pick up a set of axles from an automatic with 373's and if i think i need to go lower then i'll get 4.10s but you dont really have the easy option of going into any junkyard and picking up a stock set of axles.

finding stock axles with 3.73 gears in them is gonna be tough too, gotta find one with the factory towing package. Though the 4 cylinder cherokees did have 4.10's I believe.

send me a pm of where you live I have to go to the jy in the very near future and look for some dana's for another guy. they have probably 5 to 10 cherokees. ill see what i can find for stock 373 & 410 or any others.
you dont need multiple axles.
my personal opinion for gears is go by what the internet tells you then 2 ratios lower.
i run 5.38's with 35's
whoever tells you low gears suck on the highway and will get you single digit mpg's is full of crap
